The Mili Group. Is it a MLM scam?

Cuong Do a Mortgage Broker of the Mili Group in San Jose California has a MLM company that pays unlicensed people commissions for bringing loans then issues them a W-2, pretending that they are "processing" employees, when they are not.

New laws have permitted this... and MILI Corporation has be certified to perform such business. See licensing requirements for California in the following page:

New recruits are urged to buy multiple properties and listed each one as an owner occupant, then has them prepare fake documents to get loans from lenders using power option arm mortgage loans, ultimately these loans are foreclosed upon because the properties sold to the MLM recruits are overpriced properties from desperate Developers that "inner commissions of 20% of the purchase price is paid to the Mili Group under the table to a Mili Marketing Company.- This is a public outrage!

Listing a properties as primary residence... hmmm it doesn't seem you have any knowledge there.. Lenders are able to determine this.. Your accusation is totally not supported.

Builders offer incentives to MILI because it brings in an army of investors buying off properties with the Builders having to do advertisement.... I think that's a good business deal. Is MILI entitlted to that compensation? Absolutely!!! Do you actually think there's some company out there who invests money freely so that they can bring you a 20% discount on your home and not make a dime? lolz!!!

MILI suffers financial difficulties now due to market crash... but they hired 3rd party administrators in order to save the company and pay their debt....

If they were a financial scam... they would have just filed bankruptcy and continue to making another scam.... dont you think? Why are they still paying the owed comissions? Although slowly... but THEY ARE PAYING THE OWED COMISSIONs....

I was approached by a friend who told me about Mili Group and how so many people are making money and blah blah blah. I naturally wanted to see how this works. MLM companies are usually bogus and you may make a few dollars but for the most part you tend to loose money. Some of the people who had a lot of people on their down line spoke about how they are now making all this money. Turns out they have that many people on their downline from previous flops they were in. They easily bring the same people under them. Now that Mili kicked the bucket FDI steps in and people start crying "lets respect the structure" which means everything rolls right over to FDI. Lame. So when these people tell you they have recruited 10 people in a week and they claim it to be so easy its not. Not everyone has a prior mili pyramid scam they participated in.

I'm an agent that's owed commission since January...hmmm that's how many months ago...for those of you defending Coung Do, start counting that and tell me if that's "good practice". The bible talks about employers taking care of their employees and vise versa. Coung Do used all of us to make his millions and now many, many people are owed thousands of dollars and YES have lost their homes!~Reserved~ Hhhmmm commission money is reserves that Coung Do stole from right under us. All you people defending him, I'm sure you're the office staff that gets paid weekly. If you were owed $$$$ and lost your homes, you would understand the deception and frustration being felt. One question I ask myself is "HOW COULD COUNG DO SLEEP AT NIGHT KNOWING HE SCREWED LOTS OF AGENT". And for whom ever said don't bite the hand that feeds you....hhhmmm he introduced the concept and we fed him!!!!!!!!!!I believe Mili will fold soon and a class action suit is what is needed. Labor board won't help because we are considered "independent". DRE won't help get owed money but it will help marking this fake company and Coung Do. MILI is a sure scam - illegal operation. I joined them at the San Diego branch 2 years ago - I had to fight for my commission check for 3 months until it was "traced". This is illegal. Cuong Do's TPC is to deliberately deceive lenders of the multiple loan transaction per client claiming Owner Occupied with bogus documentation and they brag about this.
Big players in this scam: Duc Duong, Vivian Nguyen, Shawn Do = they take advantage of Asian immigrants who are passive. The push to get recruits, and take the bulk of the commission - paid on time and nothing left for the recuiter.

There is a laundry list of illegal activities with the MILI Group. Cuong Do is the broker of record and is the person responsible for the activities in his brokerage.

MILI is nothing but a very sophisticated scam. Went to one of their "free" seminar years ago. They touted TPC using "OPM" (other's people money) methodology of real estate investments. One of the manager touted half a billion $ of loan deal with Indy Mac Bank.
it's inevitable, Mili Group will suffer the same fate.
