Alan Chartock has a history of sexually abusing female employees at WAMC and here he is hosting a fundraiser for the Elizabeth Freeman Center.

It sounds to me as though the smarmy little professor is just trying to draw attention away from the bad publicity he is generating over his decision to affiliate radio station WAMC with Amazon.com .
Local WAMC underwriters are furious about what they see as a betrayal for years of loyally supporting WAMC programs, and Chartock's alliance with Amazon apparently cuts directly into these underwriters' sales.
And what's this malarkey about the Freeman Center having a "secret" address?
It took thirty seconds to find the organization's so-called "secret" address on the Internet.
The organization's IRS Form 990 says its legal address is 43 Francis Avenue in Pittsfield.

So please don't bother sending contributions in care of Alan Chartock at Hollenbeck Avenue in Great Barrington since this guy cannot be trusted with ANY charity's money (as is evidenced by his blatantly false claim that he doesn't have use of an expense account at WAMC).
