Video captures man who left bomb at Boone Wal-Mart

I ws thinking the same thing, Walmart makes billions of dollars but yet they seem to have the worst survelliance equipment known!

I have seen better video come out of a mom and pop corner store then what we get from a huge company like this place!

I used to have a relative work as an executive in Wal-Mart, he was in charge of security for most of the Georgia's stores.

Short explanation to your question: Wal-Mart is more focused on preventing employee theft and Union organization, than surveiling customers.

It sounds to me like there is no correlation between the two. The Sylva Wally bomb was originally described as a sterno can opened and lit and placed behind some 1 gallon propane camping containers. This was the story for weeks, then they changed the story to some kind of IED placed near a propane can. From folks who were there I have heard that one propane can did blow up, but the rest beside it did not.
The last article I saw in the paper/news about the Sylva Wally bomb was the video of 3 people who the feds were looking for to "question" and that their descriptions "might" match those of folks caught on Wally crap-qualtiy video of a store in Fla that had a bomb go off in it. As far as I know, no arrests have been made.
It sounds like a pipe bomb that someone tried to light at this Wally in Boone, but it failed due to faulty fuse.

I agree!! I would think that the very least they can do is put the video on this website so people could see. If WLOS is playing it to see if anyone recognizes this goofball, it would increase the odds if it were here too. I actually thought it would be judging by the title of this article.

Last I checked, it is still dark at 5:40am and if the weather was bad (it had been raining earlier in the area) it is hard for video to clearly pick things up.

I understand hating Wal*Mart, but not enough to risk going to jail for it.

Doubt there is a connection to the Sylva Wal*Mart as they were looking for three "older" adults.

The bomb was lit, and suppose to go off. The guy who built it aparently used a **** fuse and it burnt out before it blew up. The video shows him setting the bomb down, lighting it, and running. All you see is smoke. Yes, Wal-mart has **** cameras.
