I reckon the MSM will ignore this;

APS Opens Global Warming Debate

The American Physical Society, an organization representing nearly 50,000 physicists, has reversed its stance on climate change and is now proclaiming that many of its members disbelieve in human-induced global warming. The APS is also sponsoring public debate on the validity of global warming science. The leadership of the society had previously called the evidence for global warming "incontrovertible."

In a posting to the APS forum, editor Jeffrey Marque explains,"There is a considerable presence within the scientific community of people who do not agree with the IPCC conclusion that anthropogenic CO2 emissions are very probably likely to be primarily responsible for global warming that has occurred since the Industrial Revolution."

APS only has 46,000 members! Did they all agree? Seems like an impossibility! Could their decision be related to the withholding of Government grants and other funding by the Bush administration? Could money be the root of their decision?

Funding is done by Congress, usually attached to a bill that won't be vetoed by the leftist, moron. GW funding started long before Bush. Try again moron.

Local would you care to point out some of his lies and falsehoods or are you just saying such since you have no real facts to refute his claim or mine?

From the bottom of this "article":

"Updated 7/17/2008

After publication of this story, the APS responded with a statement that its Physics and Society Forum is merely one unit within the APS, and its views do not reflect those of the Society at large. "

APS Climate Change Statement

APS Position Remains Unchanged

The American Physical Society reaffirms the following position on climate change, adopted by its governing body, the APS Council, on November 18, 2007:

"Emissions of greenhouse gases from human activities are changing the atmosphere in ways that affect the Earth's climate."

An article at odds with this statement recently appeared in an online newsletter of the APS Forum on Physics and Society, one of 39 units of APS. The header of this newsletter carries the statement that "Opinions expressed are those of the authors alone and do not necessarily reflect the views of the APS or of the Forum." This newsletter is not a journal of the APS and it is not peer reviewed.

Well, I see that you have not read the facts as I put forth. What else do you have to put forth other than your usual BS? When you have read the article and have some facts to refute it then get back to me. Until then just shut up and go play with yourself as is your normal habit.

There is no consensus, only in the mind of the deluded and those who have been Stern-ly Gored.

Well, let's let APS speak for itself, instead of letting whacked-out bizzarro conspiracy theorists put lies in APS' mouth:

A note in red lettering above the article states that it has not been peer-reviewed and that "its conclusions are in disagreement with the overwhelming opinion of the world scientific community. The Council of the American Physical Society disagrees with this article's conclusions."

NOT peer-reviewed.
In DISAGREEMENT with OVERWHELMING OPINION of the world scientific community.
APS DISAGREES with the article.

You can keep believing your bizarro-world theories, as that is your right. But spreading disinformation to further your aims isn't something to be proud of.

In other words one of their own seems to have call BS on their agenda and they are pissed. Sounds like a bunch of sour grapes to me. LOL

I am still waiting for you to refute or present clear evidence against the Dr. David Evans article. Your APS doesn't cut it. They are nothing more than a group who meets a couple of times a year and makes statements in order to gain some federal funding to keep their agenda alive. Yep, I read their history.
