Closing of post offices will hit rural areas hard - Akron News-Reporter

The United States Postal Service is considering closing 62 post offices across the state.

My parents had a country store and with post office boxes, that they charged $250 a year rent as a draw to get store traffic. I think it was in the late 1960's. My father didn't want to price the post office out of having it in the store. The buyer of that store ran it to the ground.
If they will still have rural route drivers, I think they could be more accommodating, Stamps and scales etc..
