The article is quite clear: Stephen Brothers was found dead, apparent suicide, during a search of his residence on April 22. The woman, whose Uniontown residence was also searched on April 22, was indicted June 12 on a host of heinous crimes. I respectfully see no proof-reading problems.

Brothers official day of death was 4/28/08 -- although it is suspected he killed him self several days earlier, but not as early as April 22.

well, they obviously corrected the error. Those of us who read the article yesterday were informed that "Brown was found dead in the garage" (the police officer) which has now been correctly changed to "Brothers was ...". Hope this puts the top comments into perspective, cause i sure know I'm "edjumacated" enough to know what I read originally!!! HAH!

Steve last talked to family/friends on the evening of 4-24 and was found the morning of 4-28 the his time of death was offically placed on the 24th

Mr. Duh is quite correct, the article might have been corrected after it was posted.

That's one of the problems with news websites: stories are sometimes rushed onto the web with limited editing and certainly no one from the copy desk getting a look. Later, when corrections are made, there is seldom an indication of any changes.
