Energy prices hurting Myers' sales

Myers Industries Inc. reported slightly higher net income for the second quarter on lower revenue Thursday, but said higher energy prices are driving up costs as well as sapping sales.

Maybe they need to fire some of their employees, they have been known to do that before. All while their main officers make more money than anyone else in the business... Oh wait that is right this is a company that likes managers, why in the IT dept alone they have 5 managers out of 5 people... Nice job Orr isn't it a wonder how Myers stays afloat with people running it that came from a floundering GoodYear, and a floundering Rubbermaid. Way to keep those stock values up.

I would like for Myers to develop the first hybrid Hydrogen/Electric vehicle. I think now is the time for the middle and upper class to step up and support the effort, and benefit from the technology.

It should allow one to recharge the batterys' at work or at home. While charging the system will create liquefied hydrogen for use as a fuel for he engine.

The exhaust is to be condensed (if possible) filtered and reused for making liquefied hydrogen or for drinking, maybe. More distilled water can be added as needed. This will work better than Ethanol and will not cause cause food prices to soar.

The only problem would be the Government/Fascists that want everyone to be too poor and weak to resist the tyranny that is to come upon us all.

Hmmmm....I think someone needs to read up a bit on Myers Industries. The company is a distributor of tire supplies (everything except tires!) and a manufacturer of plastics used in industries. They don't have an R&D team in place to create new plastic containers for the market let alone develop a car!
