Scholes sad to see Beckham quit

May 17, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Salisbury Journal

Paul Scholes has described former Manchester United and England team-mate David Beckham's decision to retire as a "sad day". Scholes and Beckham were part of the class of '92, along with Nicky Butt and Gary and Phil Neville, which delivered success to the club under the guidance of Sir Alex Ferguson, who announced he was quitting last week.

Fitting Scholes and Becks are retiring simultaneously with Sir Alex. Fergie and his fledglings are now down to one now. I never would've thought it would be Giggs being the last one left as he was the most athletic and injury hit out of them all.
