Not really, the Dutch and English team consists of many non-European players also if you notice. Although not as many as in Les Bleus. Germany, now consists of many Turkish and African players. Swiss & Belgium also.
But I honestly think France can still field a competitive team with all white French players.
White French team (4-2-3-1): Lloris, Debuchy, Koscielny, Mexes, Mathieu, Toulalan, Cabaye, Menez, Gourcuff, Ribery, Gameiro.
They're all good white French players.(Note: although Ribery is a Muslim convert, he's still white French ethnically)
A national football team should be composed of the best players of that country, holding citizenship, regardless of their colour, ethnic origin or religion. Period.

When an individual receives citizenship from a country, by birth or naturalisation, that means he is entitles to ALL the rights attached to it, including playing for this country.

No people, only one team is totaly made of black people when you turn your TV on, it's France. I can tell you the Japanese and Asians are either chocked or laugh so loud when they see your black country. No offense for Africans people. Just they must live in Africa. Immigration 5 percents no more.
You are more ridiculous when you finnish second with players from Africa that are here to hid your "not capable at playing football country", as if you finnish 12 with people from your own country.
Just an old trick. you want absolutely to brag about your flag. You want to say France france france. But in fact you can only do it by leting others country do it for you.
If the Dutschs and Englishs and Germans use this drug also now, it's because the lazzy Frenchs introduce it at first. It's a drug. You make things better by cheating. And your image abroad is damage because of that now.

It explodes so bade Made by the naive loosy socialist like you. ly. The Muslims who can easily get radicals, the Frenchs who are not that tough righ now, not the defend their ground kind right now, more office workers like people, the Africans and Portuguese with their suburbian character wanted to fight destroy and stealing.
Anyway that end up badely. Riot in UK, cars damage in France suburbs, more you let them come, more it will happen.
You will be punished for advocating such things. Your grand children will be black, and will try to get rid of you during this civil war.

French it's an ethnic. 2000 years to make it. So is british or German or Italian. It has been mixed, but at a very slow pace, and by invaders from Europe. The face hasen't change that much, just the hair color is.
Citizenship it's just a piece of paper. If a revolution occurs or a civil war, they will have to flee. This piece of paper will be torn up. One day those piece of papers will worth nothing. The locals will take their land back. Just your ethnic will give you the right to live in France or not. Because that's the land of the French ethnic. Like Nigeria is the land of the Nigerian ethnic.
Remember Algeria, they did good. One day they torn up the citizenship of the Frenchs invaders.

Stop your ideal dreams. The French coatch goes in Guinea or Nigeria, he watches wich one is the best at playing football among the 17 years old kids. He tells this one, i give you two hunderet thausend dollars a year and the french citizenship.
So it's just a purchase. An import. This men has nothing to do with the frenchs, or britishs. He laughs when he see all those drunk low level football fences who shot : "vive la france", allez la france!".
So it's like a drug this football import, your country win sure at first, but abroad the russians and japanese see your country as an invaded thing that go down. Africans don't give such a good reputation to the french country flag. And they see the frenchs as people to shy to play football. they ask the tall africans to do it for them. just shy frenchs, afraid to loose. Cowards.

I agree with you Herr Ludwig that French football team shouldn't look like a football team from an African country with so many players coming from Senegal, Gabon ...
But unlike Germany and the UK, France has Guadeloupe and Martinique that they consider "departments" just like department Paris 75. So if the Guadeloupe-1s are considered French ,too even many of them are black, why not the other Africans from Africa. That is the whole problem. You have to get rid of Guadeloupe, Martinique first.

Hi examiner from North America continent.
I use to pick those Ludwig user because of Ludwig von bethoveen. But i m not alsacian nor german, so i took leon now.
Sure it's ridiculous those French flaf made of Afircans people. The Chinese, Japanese and Russians laugh so much about it. It really look like the funny paper.
No offense for Africans people, many Africans have a college degree or run a buisiness in their continent.
.
You see examiner things have changed about Guadeloup and Martinique in the last decade. Have you live in France Paris or Lyon examiner? At first MArtinique and guadeloup people are not numerous. just a few hunderet thausend. So that doesn't have to allow three millions of Black africans to com by us. And they hate Africans people in fact. They hate each other. two cominities that don't get along at all.
So and what you don't know is that Guadeloup Martinique are real French department, but the love between French and Guadeloup Martinique has totaly fade. Because of the rich Frenchs people from the high society in fact. All of them have traveled once in their live in Martinique guadeloup and they came back home very disapointed about those two islands. The Martinique and Guadeloup civil servants just talk the whole time in the post office, and it's impossible to buy a post stamp. They spit in the face of the french tourist, they tell him their is no stamps on sell here, and they go in the cofee room just after and laugh about the french that can't have his post stamp. This civil servant salary was paid with the french tax payer money.
So those guadeloup and martinique don't welcome at all the one who have invest so much money in their island.
So many stories like those one about Martinique and guadeloup.
So the love between france and guadeloup has totaly fade.
So canack got independant.
So Chirack said to guadeloup and martinique, we give you your independance if you want.
Guadeloup and martinique answeared imediately: no no we want to stay french.
They were so afraid to loose the welfare, the doll money, the welfare for the four children, the electricity and telephone equipment, the road maintanance, the european visa.
So you see, they beg france to stay french now. France don't want them and don't need them.
.
.
But sure Frenchs had to do their atom nuclear test before. French did this dirty slave trade long ago through those islands. SO kind of debts of the past that we must still pay. But it's much of a burden.
Like Arabs or africans some people very good in those communities, some awfull. But in average more trouble coming from those people as an european citizen. still 80 percent are ok normal.
Whatever Guadeloup martinique within 50 years won't belong to france any more. they have to learn to fly with their own wings.

Hello Herr Leon aka Ludwig from the eastern French border!

The reason why I mentioned Guadeloupe and Martinique was because most of those islanders look like Africans from Africa. For example, take Lilian Thuram who was in the French national team. If you don't know his background you would think he is from Gabon or Senegal. But he is a French Guadeloupe-1. Imagine there are 6 players coming from Guadeloupe or Martinique in the team. No one would deny that he is French because he doesn't belong to any country in Africa.

In many people's minds including mine, French people don't look like Africans or Arabs especially when they represent France to compete with the world for some glory or prizes.

Maybe that is not what the French leaders want but that is what they have inherited from the colonial past. What to do with those Guadeloupe-1s who look more African than French.

I know it's hard for France to let those islands have independence. Barbados is a small island sitting next to Guadeloupe and has the size of 1/3 of Martinique. But it has been granted independence by the UK in the 60s. GDP per capita is 15,300 usd which is much more than that of China or Thailand. The Guadeloupe-1s will have to learn to manage their own island like all their neighbours in the Caribbean. If France can't get rid of the past, it will have to assume past responsibilities and more Arabs and Africans will come to France.

Germany doesn't have the same problems. They have foreign guest workers to do menial work but they don't grant citizenship to them. Citizenship rights can only be granted to new babies whose parents are Germans (right of blood) and not to babies born in Germany by foreigners working in Germany. France is probably the only country in Europe that grants citizenship rights automatically to any person born in France(jus soli). They have to change this rule if they don't want too much foreigners. The UK also had this jus soli law before but they changed the citizenship law in 1983.

I think it's the former Chinese leader Deng Zhaou Ping who coined the expression "It doesn't matter if the cat is black or white, as long as it catches mice".

Same for footballers: it doesn't matter what colour they are, as long as they score goals for their country.

French leaders would have very little to complain about the colour of the players in their national football team, as long as they perform well. I am sure that with time, they will overcome their prejudice.

I also don't see why a country should deprive itself of the talents it possesses, just to keep the apparence of some racial purity. Germany tried that, and we know what happened to it, don't we?

The Chinese are not one race, but a composition of several ethnicities, which are seen in their national team as well. Not all Chinese are Hans, some are Mandchus, other Yugurs, there are also Hakkas. You should know that!

The Russians have Tatars but also Ukrainians, Udmurts, Buryats, Mongols, Tuvanians, Ossetians, Ingushs , Kazakks, Uzbecks, and several other ethnicities in their teams.

As for Japan, many players are in fact Koreans, but this is hardly recognised. In Japan, Koreans are still second class citizen.

LOL. Don't ever try to teach me about my origins.
You ONLY know some Hakkas, I know a lot of Hakkas my whole life. I am a Min Nan Chinese descent living with many Hakkas in Indonesia all my life. They're just as Han as any other tribes of Hans. Hakkas and Min Nan share the same Sinitic language, customs etc. You have to notice that Hans consist of many tribes within it and each tribes have some uniqueness in their culture, customs etc but that does not make them non-Han. Min-Nan speakers can understand Hakkas and vice versa.

Wow. I'm not even living in France. I'm a keen observer on French culture and a Francophile who oppose the Arabization of France but your comment made it clear that there are a bunch of French who don't deserve respect. I am on your side but you seem to blatantly disrespect any people. You are the one who disgrace France with your slum racist comment. What a shame.
We don't live in jungle. When Franks were still pagan nomads, the Chinese had built one of the grandest civilization on earth. Even the Arabs in their golden era envied us.

Han is a generic term for the Chinese who are not Hakka, Cantonese, Manchu, and those living in Yunnan, Kuangsi, Ughur .. They are called Han because of the Han dynasty. There is no such ethnicity called Han but there is an ethnicity called Hakka. That s what I think.

I agree with you Fouine.

Racists are often ignorant at the same time, just like that Alexander who is trolling this forum peddling his stupid prejudices.

You may be Francophile, but you will end disappointed: too many French are so egocentric and insecure that many express openly the most revolting bigotry without any shame.

Racism and xenophobia is almost a badge of honour in France now. There is no country in Europe that is so racist, and where an anti-immigrants political party would gather so much votes.

It's sad to say, but having observed France from the other side of the Channel for years, I have seen this old country shrivelling moraly. I would not consider retiring in France for example, but could live in Italy or Spain that are more tolerant and lay-back.
