Amazing how the Wellington Bear has 1500 comments, while one of the 3 biggest US soccer upsets ever has 6.

why don't you go troll the education posts and unleash your turds of wisdom there?
real football has always been supported in America; what exclusively football or basketball company has been around since 1924 like Umbro?! Real football pre-dates football and basketball and for a time, basketball used a soccer ball before they came up with a ball of their own. American football just used a modified rugby ball which also pre-dates them. The MLS still hasn't folded after 13 years and is in fact expanding! If you need another history lesson, I suggest you read "How Soccer Explains the World."

that story has been running for nearly three to four weeks; check back later. Most comments there are about Weston housewives, luxury cars and the idle rich and of course Yogi Bear asking where is his pick-a-nic basket.

I was at the World Cup 2006 game U.S.A. vs. Italy and that was one of the best games played by the U.S. we were the only team to tie with that years Champions. U.S. is honestly getting better and better. Still a few or maybe a bit more years away from global domination hehe....Vamos Argentina!!!!!

Dude....relax...you seem to be the hater... Brazil by 3 ok...?? |
||||

I saw them play Netherlands in 1998 in a friendly and the US looked sick. They have come a long way since then. 2002 was a great World Cup for the US. 2006 was forgettable tournament for the US except for the Italy game. The US should do well in 2010 if the Confederations Cup is a predictor.

Who the F cares about this crap? It's the Confederations Cup, not the World Cup, big whoop. On to some Gator football coverage, you know, some REAL football...
|
||||
College sports, big yawn!!!! |
