I saw you either bais,ill-informed or corrupted somehow. If otherwise I am not sure what make you believe one clan's evil demand against six other clan who identify themselve EX-British Somali's, but are agianst any further division of Somalia.
When advocating the Unity of Europe ,what is your agenda in redividing Africa or the rest of the world.
If you don't love for others what you love to have ,then your humanity is not perfect.

this book brings back the issue of somaliland not being recodnised as a state in the international system seems some what rediculious to me.
... What is a state defined as, a place with a population, central running governing body that is in control of its defined borders and a written implimented law which its citizens follow..Somaliland has all of the above, looking at social constructivist theories and it clears the reason on why the international system do not see somaliland as a state ...because they do not want to see it as one even though the contrary is quite true..
in my opinion comming from a constructivist view point i see what i want to see and i see somaliland as a independent self governing state and somalia having pockets of power with no state wide governing power..

That looks like a good book, I wanna read it.
I think when it comes to granting Somaliland independence, the international community is dragging its feet, always thinking of excuses as to why Somaliland can't be an independent country, which is quite surprising seeing as Somaliland meets all the criteria for recognition and becoming its own country.

really i apreciate somalilanders becouse of keaping their teritory peace and loveble at 18 year where rest of somali become war riden and horible place. but interms of recognition it look likes that the world is not intersting the isue becouse defferent interests. agood example is nieghboring countries where each one sees the isue on their interst.

in my opion somaliland had fullfiled the pre-requisit to be fulself determined country. like demo-constitution, fair ellection and much more
