Plushenko is phenomenol. He is one of the skaters that I can watch over and over and each of his programs is memorable. I hope he keeps on skating until the next olympics. Go Plushenko.

Plushenko is not better than Yagudin. IF Yagudin would not have stop competing Plushenko would not be the leader. Plushenko artistical ability is no where near Yagudin was. Johnny Weir will never be the one to beat him, in my opinion. He need more than a cups of Quads to beat. Joubert may be the one to do it, or Lambrel. He(Plushenko) is a dream to watch.

I simply love Plushenko energy (particularly footsteps )and his great capability of performing...while skating he is as if he were acting...his face and his gestures...they all try to convey emotions from him to you. He's impressive!

Brian Joubert is not one of the most talented skaters, but I do enjoy him sometimes - refering to his program "time". I think Plushenko is entertaining, but other than his technical consistancy, I find him repetitive. He is like fast food, you know, delicious and exiciting at fast, but if you eat too much, you get sick. But Alexei Yagudin is a different story - he is fine wine. I can watch him skate forever, he is the best figure skater of all time. The way he floated across the ice, those huge spetacular jumps and how he immersed himself completely in his programs during his eligible days was just mesmorizing to watch. I miss him so much.

How interesting as Yagudin himself cheered for Plushenko at the last Olympics and said that Plushenko did much for men's skating. Personally, I think Plushenko and Yagudin are equally the best ever produced in male skating. He is fascinating to watch and has his own style. His routine with the violinist on the ice was breathtaking and wonderful. It was impossible to take you eyes off him. Plushenko is not done yet. He may be there next year or the next olympics and I'll bet Yagudin will still be admiring him and cheering for him to win.
