What a great sentiment Michael J Fox......Every penny & fame you've enjoyed has come from the great US of A........! In appreciation following your remark, it'd be really nice if you'd place that maple leaf where the sun doesn't shine.

Yeh, how funny that the closing ceremonies featured a bunch of Canadians who moved to the States decades ago and never went back:

Neil Young, Wayne Gretsky, Bill Shatner, Catherine O'Hara, Michael J. Fox.

Paul Anka woulda joined the list but he's in too much hot water with his contentious LA divorce.

Some jealous people here this morning.

Shatner and Fox may work in the US, but they'll always be Canadian boys.

Trudeau is in the grave where he should be.

The minute William Shatner took to the stage, the ceremonies jumped the shark BIG TIME. Pointless, no energy, and boarded on offensive at times. Blow up mounties and rodents, a little boy dressed as a hockey puck, those maple leaf angels? W.T.F? It seemed like one big inside joke.

I can see why they cut it at 10:30 and dropped in The Marriage Ref., which was rather amusing. I'm guessing NBC would have preferred to cut the broadcast soon after the flame went out.

Trudeau died in 2000.

Trudeau didn't get his multi-culturalism over on the Olympics, maybe he is turning over in his grave. I like the opening and closing ceremonies...mostly white/french/english, scenes of represented wildlife/geography, etc...Most of us were worried it could have turned into a group of bed sheet wearing muslim immigrants walking in with the flag.

Funny how the Canadians posting seem to think that our comments in reference to the closing ceremonies somehow have something to do with being sore losers. Err, per the last count, USA won the medal count so, your point being is? Closing ceremonies were low energy and unoriginal.

BTW, as for your beer drinking cigar smoking lesbian female hockey team, real classy. I'm surprised they didn't pull out Bic razors and shave their pits as well. Your Olympics will be remembered for them and your technological failure during the opening ceremonies. Doh.

Funny how a more is so infatuated with canadian lesbians yet you got your tail licked in the end. Ceromonies don't warrant Gold medals won. Your source of entertainment is bic razors? Son you got serious issues. now bubble off

"Funny how a more is so infatuated with " Huh?

"now bubble off" Huh, again.

Don't recall denying that the Canadian women's team rightfully won the Gold Medal, it's their and yours lack of sportMANship and ability to win gracefully that is so very very apparent. BTW, why are you reading/commenting on US media websites? Are you THAT desperate to gloat? Pathetic
