Hersh. Joubert at is best and with this short is not robotic. It's unfair to call him that. He's a different type of skater than Chan is, but Joubert is a showman who plays to the crowd and can bring them to the feet.. A robot doesn't do that.
The problem with Joubert's program is a lack of transitions and choregraphy but the problem isn't that Joubert is robotic.
And to be quite frank, Joubert is an excellent basic skater. Many say better than Lyseck. It's something that gets lost in whole argument.
As for Chan, I think Chan has been one of the most overscored skaters this season. 89 points for a short program without a quad, should not be happening Period. Maybe I would have given Chan 84 points, but that's frankly it.
I'm tired of Chan's sense of entitlement and thinking that he has the right to insult skaters like Yagudin, Kulik, and Joubert who have accomplished way more than he has.

Totally agree with you.Why Chan did not complain when the judges gave him the S.C or when him was overscored in 4CC?

Chan's not one tenth the skater Yagudin or Kulik is - I bet all the tea in China that he will lose in Vancouver.
