How many sports are we going to create so that everyone that wants to compete in the Olympics has the chance to do that? Corradini talks about gender equality in the Olympics - but the real question is whether the level of competition in women's ski jumping worthy of an Olympic medal and the notoriety that comes with that? The IOC obviously didn't think so in Vancouver - has it gotten that measurably better in the past year to deserve this? One need only to look at the makeup of the US team to answer that with a resounding NO when an entire national team is made up of members from a single community.
