Ok, I understand you anger towards communists, but Mr.Franjo Tudjman liberated whole country and achieved independence, if not such wise leader, you would be still part of Yugoslavia.

Who is the broken record here?

What a ridiculous question. we all know what happened in 1945 when dreams of liberation were shattered and Croatians were slaughtered like dogs at the hands of tudmans communist murder squads.

At least Pavelic called himself a Croatian his WHOLE life and battled for Croatian freedom most of his adult life, unlike tudman who spent over half his life fighting for belgrade and serbian interests, before he woke up out of his communist slumber in his old age. how many of his children are technically serbian? he spent a lot of time in his beloved belgrade, even writing books in serbian language!
How much money did he and his family steal from hard working Croatian immigrants who donated for the war effort?

Get off your hdz high horse before you start pointing your finger at NDH greats.

All Pavelic did was to transfere Croatia into German Nazi puppet state and giving up 1/5 of Croatia's territories to Italian Nazis, not to mentioned his brutality.
You are very much ignorant, Dr.Tudjman was exactly the one who was leading the Croatian nation for independence and not as some puppet state as Pavelic, but a full independent country. Croatian people expressed their love to him and they do not care about some rotting elements in Nazi part of Diaspora.

.. you are a very stupid person! A country can declare independence, but you have to international recognition
or you do not have an independent country, which has no army, no currency and no representation! Franjo Tudjman was a God sent!
But,true, the croatians never had or have good leaders! But,you go back to school and take some history lessons! I'm sure they have summer school or night school courses in Australia!

If franjo had his way, Croatia would have remained a yugoslav republic. This is what he was pushing until bombs practically started falling on his Zagreb!
I think YOU are the one who needs history lessons.

To say recognition wouldn't have happened without tudman is laughable. Whenever I heard him speak, he just sounded like a weak, mumbling old man - hardly an impressive statesman. the image of him sipping tea with milosevic in titos hunting lodge whilst cetniks were burning Croatia, is etched into my memory.
apparently he had a direct hotline to milosevic in his office as well! Maybe thats how krajina serbs got the heads up about storm?

Speaking of history, have tudman supporters forgotten what he was up to prior to 1965? His anti-Croatian past is very conveniently forgotten.
I will never forgive or forget anyone with Croatian blood on their hands whether it be serbs or partizani. In my opinion partizani are worse because those of Croatian background lurk behind the Croatian flag when it suits, whereas the serb can easily be accounted for, as was proven in 90s.

You want to talk about history lessons - try checking up on Croatian history prior to 1991. It is where most of our problems lie. Let me make that clear,'CROATIAN history', not 'former YUGOSLAV version' of Croatian history.

yugoslavian regime rammed the 'anti-fascist' ANTI-CROAT message down kids throats at schools on a daily basis for 50 years.

Croatia becomes free, yugoslavia is smashed and the same sh.t is still rammed down kids throats. What does that tell you about the people running the country? nothing but former communist liars and manipulators.

We had homeland war veterans visit here recently saying kids aren't even told about the homeland war until well into high school! I'm guessing it will be removed from the curriculum all together soon for fear of upsetting their beloved serbs!

Ante Pavelic was for CROATIA his whole life, not italy, germany or any other country as you so desperately need to believe to justify your families anti-Croat past.
If you choose to equate war time allies as a change of nationality, than that is your ignorant, uneducated prerogative.
