Planned meeting between Croatia & Slovenia, may indeed resolve border dispute. Many in the West are confident that the border dispute matter can be addressed to the fullest satisfaction of Croatia & Slovenia. Regrettably, the EU has failed to call upon Slovenia and remind them of abusing their EU membership. Slovenia has been less than cooperative in this matter. One cannot expect for Croatia to give-in and Slovenia must give-in itself. Croatia joining the EU will only benefit the European Union, perhaps more so than the benefits Croatia will see by joining the EU. The United States fully supports Croatia joining the EU.
