Distorted story. Bay area residents are against it for good reason not related to the environmental costs or risk to Montana from oil spills. Basically, it will increase the cost of oil derived fuels for California as well as other points in the US SouthWest. This is because of a higher price for oil sands dilbit from their access to export markets instead of the low price from the glut on pipeline capacity that exists today. The benefit will go to Alberta, and as a Canadian, I am all for that. It is only a bad deal for the US which carries the risks, will pay more and which gets none of the benefits because the oil is destined for export to the Far East.

You posted SE before and I corrected you. Do you recall?

Anyway, who supports this is not an informed person but a party follower. Polarization rules!
