The city of San Francisco, CA, has an active AIA Society although the Transamerica Pyramid building was pre-empted for banking use. Golden Gate Park is home to transplanted palm-trees, one such 'special' historical tree located directly below 'Hippie Hill'. See Topix Bradford PA forum for more information about the 'special' tree and populations focused upon it ('Documenting the Degolia PA oracle-bead chronicle') and/or www.marciaobead.blogspot.com entries.
