I know that a reloader knows how easy it is to alter assault-based gund to automatic or semi-automatic operation, so stop the shit.
You know your madeup statistics are insane.
You are right about 'illegally selling firearms to criminals', and this program, began by Cheney-Bush; and continued by the Obama appointees. it was moronic, but not criminal. They should be fired.
And a car is very different than a gun, so much so that your simile has no meaning.
You ought to compare explosives to guns in order to make any sense.
I apologize. I should have provided the source to these statistics.
FBI www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/ucr
Center of Disease Control www.cdc.gov/
Bureau of Justice Statistics http://bjs.ojp.usdoj.gov/

As you can see, these are the facts and statistics directly from the governmental agency responsible for maintaining such facts. No bias, no 3rd party influence.

There are over 20,000 gun laws in the United States. Among these includes that if a firearm can be altered to become an automatic, then it is to be classified as such and require a class 3 firearm licence to own.(Another interesting law is that if a handgun does not have rifling in the chamber, then it is to be considered as a shotgun, and if that handgun is under 18 inches in length, it is illegal to own regardless of licence. The only exceptions are firearms built prior to 1899. Why this is interesting is because it is legal to own a handgun of any size that shoots shot shells as long as the barrel is rifled).

It does not matter how a person was killed. The fact remains that they were. So if you are truly interested in saving lives, then focus on the things that kills them. All deaths by all guns combined ranks #15. You are more likely to be killed with a baseball bat or a pipe than you are to be killed with any assault rifle or shotgun.(Think about it; your child playing softball is holding a weapon that is statistically more deadly than an assault rifle).

Your 'food for thought' lacks any value. Guns make crime happen, but do not initiate the crime.
A criminal with a gun is much more likely to use it on you than his fork, or his car.
I don't see a point to comparing a gun in a criminal's hand to a plate in his hand.
He threaens me with a plate, and I kick his ass.
He points a gun and I empty my pockets.
Do you get that?
How many people in that movie theater would have been run over, or stuck with a fork?
Can you get over the childish, stupid rhetoric, and get real?
OK.
So what will you do when he starts shooting at random? Cower in the corner hoping that he doesn't see you? Shield your body with your child? Cry and hope that he has mercy on you?

You can see how well your tactics worked at the Colorado theater. It was exactly as you wanted. No guns allowed.

You are aware that the day prior to this event, two gunmen entered an internet cafe' in Florida only to be stopped by a 71 year old man with a concealed carry license. As a result, not a single innocent person was killed or harmed.(You have to google this event, as the big media "chose to ignore it" since it demonstrates the need for less regulation, not more).

Wasn't there a young woman many years ago that went before congress to testify about the dangers of these so called "gun free zones" after her mother and father were murdered in front of her because she was a good law abiding person who even though she had a permit to carry left her firearm in her car??

<quoted text>You have the cart before the horse.

California, New York, and other states with high rates of gun crimes have instituted gun control rates because of the crime; and not the other way around, as you mistakenly assume.

I would like to see all guns registered, and tracked. When a gun is "stolen" from Virginia, and kills a child in Sacramento, I'd want the last registered owner auomatically charged with that murder.
So many guns are sold on the street, and reported "stolen" that a murder charge would both give us a real picture of who is dealing guns to criminals; and also give the 'loosey-goosey' gun owners (not like yourself) a real reason to secure their guns.

If the gun was truly stolen, the gun-owner-suspect could appear before the judge, prove his innocence; and be dismissed from the case.
If the same suspect/owner turns up in ten different murders, we can see the pattern.

I know well that real enthusiasts, reloaders like yourself, would not dream of selling your guns to thugs.

The problem remains that too many guns are being sold on the street to criminals and crazy people after illegally migrating from states which have none or loose gun control.

People don't create mass murders and massacres, guns create massacres.

Finally, you do know that the real problem is not pipes, rifles, baseball bats, or shotguns. The real crime problem is handguns, automatic weapons, and assault rifles.

Every American killed by these weapons is another notch on Scalia's tombstone.
you are wrong
California has many new gun laws recently and they have not done anything to the crime rate

So then if I know you own a gun and I kidnap you and force you to open your safe and I steel the gun and shoot someone solely with the intent of you going to jail for murder......
Somehow that will help the crime rate???

Cars kill a thousand times more people than guns so maybe we should charge all victims of car jacking also???

You are not very bright.......

How are you going to prove the gun was stolen?????

Why would someone buy a gun legally and then sell it on the street??
Guns are cheaper on the street than in a store

Millions of guns are smuggled into the USA every year by criminal invaders

Less than .01 percent of the people murdered are killed using a automatic weapon
They are already illegal in most states

You can buy a automatic ak47 in any Mexican border town for about 500 dollars and for less than another 100 dollars they will bring it across the border

So how will gun laws stop this???

Mexico has one of the most strict gun laws of any country so tell us what that has done to gun crimes here??

Yet cities in the USA that mandated every citizen have a gun saw crimes rates fall to nothing

Please tell us why someone would buy a AR15 for 3k dollars at a store and sell it for half price on the street???

The vast majority of guns on the street are illegal to start with so making them illegal again will do nothing but convince the law abiding citizen to turn in their gun

It took me years and thousands of dollars to buy a 38 special here legally for 700 dollares
But I bought one on the street in one day for 200 dollares

Yes, and sadly, there are many such instances.

As far as myself, I refuse to go to any business that prohibits concealed carry of firearms. Not only because it places me at an unnecessary risk, but mostly because I refuse to support any business that infringes upon or disrespects our Constitutional Rights

Glad you are able to do so, but I live in Hellinois. We have to be fearful even if someone breaks into our house and threatens to murder our family as we they in this state would still try to get us for defending ourselves if we use a firearm.

It has happened in almost every country around the world, and it has been done in many of our own US cities. Therefore we know that it can and will happen if we do not remain diligent.

The gun show.
All those people of every walk of life. Thousands of guns and millions of rounds of ammo. Yet not a single murder has ever been committed at one.
Now for your gun free zones.
Can you give just one example of a gun free zone that had not been targeted? I feel like a parrot saying this, but here it is; Criminals do not care about the law. This is why they are criminals. And they prefer unarmed victims since they can not shoot back.
(BTW: Even at gun shows, a background check must be performed by all FFL dealers.)
Just because cars are not made for killing does not change the fact that they kill more people than guns. Baseball bats and crowbars are not made for killing either, but they intentionally kill more people in the U.S. than every model/style of rifle and shotgun combined. More people die by mistakes made by their doctors/hospitals than by all firearms combined.
As far as how these guns end up in the hands of criminals, let's ask obama and holder. After all, they were the ones who gave them to them.
The bloodbath will contiue until gun-nuts realize that they are responsible for every death.

Nobody wants to "take your gunds" except the NRA.
Registration and strict regulation is not "taking."

No realization of guilt = no end of blood.

Registration is a necessary precursor to confiscation. It will do nothing to dissuade anyone from committing a random act of violence or any other violent crime. It will merely facilitate the destruction o the second amendment.

No, gun nuts are not responsible. The useless dirtbag criminal is.

Doubt it...But nice try..It is a short barreled shotgun pistol..In other words it is like a sawed off shotgun..WHICH IS ILLEGAL FOR GOOD REASON..........That pistol is not made for hunting or protection..BUT TO KILL PEOPLE IN MASS....No one needs mass killing guns for self protection.

Your sad NRA-inspired dry dream.
NOBODY but the NRA has ever suggested this "taking away your guns."

The 2nd Amndment has beed destroyed already. Half of it has been thrown away by the present Supreme Court, and it has no real histrical meaning now.
