I remember a time when housing could be segregated by "singles only." This way, single people could pursue their swinging no-kids lifestyles with pool parties and unmolested flower beds. Thanks to the nanny state, all apartment complexes had to include two bedrooms units for "families." Now we have a lot of miserable people: families who can't let their kids have sandboxes, single people who are sick of their cars being vandalized, and the mentally ill who pose a risk to children. Bring back the singles only apartment complexes, and let families who don't mind screaming kids live with each other.

Then came the Progressives and said property owners did not have the right to create places for people who live the same way by choice, not demand.
