"What! Even more than the US per capita?"
Oh, yeah. That's why it's such a fascist state.
"Congress
/Senators pass laws to please thier criminal friends on Wall St. and the mass media, who have the Judges in thier back pocket!"
That's what they do in Europe with their legislators. But so much of the European trash are unelected Euro bureaucrats that you can never get rid of.

My understanding of the American legal system:-
Congress/Senators pass laws to please thier criminal friends on Wall St. and the mass media, who have the Judges in thier back pocket!
Pretty accurate.
Legal Parasites is now taking on the legislators and bankers who have used the law to legalize the Recession that affected most of the world.
It seems to me that other nations should get in on this and help hold them accountable.
Do you have a home? Do you own a business? Do you ever intend to do either?
If yes to any of these, then you've been severely damaged by the Recession, and it will get worse.
What they've done doesn't make sense, and seems ominous.

It's not like your personal information is private. All your personal information is at your local grocery store or your credit card company.
then why is the usa govt suppeonaing[sp???] ppl's personal twitter accounts? its not that they want credit acct info. they want to know who's talking to who abt what, i guess. this is a bit invasive for a so-called free society. and its not like they suspect them of terrorism. i doubt they think icelandic MPs r working for al quaeda. my theory of the minute is that they r trying to induce fear/paranoia-the usa govt can get the goods on anyone, so u better watch what u say.
its 1 thing if u want to say that assange 'stole' usa govt info.[haha] govts are PUBLIC property. its far more serious when a govt thinks it can invade PRIVATE property of ppl on whom there is not the slightest shred of evidence that they have committed the tiniest crime. unless u consider it a crime to disagree with the usa.
jeez-there's hilary telling usa diplomats to steal info off the computers of foreign diplomats and then the usa has the gall to call foul when their own documents get stolen???
the usa keeps making an ass of itself
