Swedish cities hit by spate of arson and unrest

Friday night was a troublesome one for many police forces across Sweden with several reports of arson and unrest.

First of all, these recent car burning troubles are done by kids, most of them younger than 18. In poor areas around the country. It's usally a group of 10-20 people. The media is blowing it up and comparing it to the riots in Paris a couple of years ago.

Iranians, compared to other middle eastern immigrants, are most liked and respected in Sweden. Half of all immigrants or children of immigrant parents in Swedish Universitys and Colleges are Iranian.. are you saying that we should kick them out because of some stupid kids?

Get killed? What are you talking about? It's a bunch of stupid kids that are burning cars. And it's NOT acceptable, I'm not defending them. But it's not a reason to "kick out" any group of innocent people.

----------I am not saying you should kick them out - you just don't let more into Sweden, before those who already IN are not yet absorbed in Swedesh way of life...If you need cleaners and unqualified workers for jobs which Swedes do not take - invite East Europeans better - those at least want to be like you, but not to change you into muslims like all those arabs, turks, kurds and somali are dreaming about (not only dreaming but violantly demonstrating it)

Most Swedes don't believe in religion at all, it's not a Christian country like it once were. I am (Orthodox) Christian myself, and religiously, I have more in common with a muslim than a non-believer. Becuase we both believe in God.

There are many muslims that's working hard and have adopted the Swedish way of living, and there also those that wants their own community and are totally outside the "system".

I think the government should push harder to make sure that people study the language, so they are able to get a job. You won't see these problems that's been poping up recently, in a middle-class area where the childrens parents have a job.

Social issue's usually has to do with economy, than religion, race or nationallity.

Saudi are rich, but it doesn't change them to be advocats of human rights and democracy - the same will be in Sweden- economy may be cataliser, but tendency is defined by religion or ideology,... as for race and nationality - those are not important - in USA people belong to different race and ethnicity, but they all are americans -exept for muslims, some of whom did 9/11 to them (all who did it lived in USA for years and even graduated from US aviation school)...Your government ofcourse should push harder to what you mentioned, but without a break in muslim influx to Sweden they (Government) will not succeed in it...You say you are Orthodox - you mean Ethiopian Orthodox Christian, or some East European?

The Saudi royal family are very rich. The people are poor. Saudi Arabia is an extreme example, I don't think it's fair to use them as an example for muslims. We could flip the script and talk about Malaysia, majority muslim, very rich country with a high living standard, clean etc.

The US is country built by a group of immigrants. The native Americans are almost non-existing. So it's easier for immigrants to "fit in", since the country already is so "multi-cultural". Many people still today refer themself as "African-Americans", "Irish-American", "Italian-American", etc. But they have a common factor, they are all Americans. No one can say "this is my country, get out" because originally - the land belongs to the natives ("Indians").

The 9/11 terrorists are brainwashed idiots. There are millions of muslims in America that's living a decent life. Refering to terrorists as real muslims is like calling the KKK Christians. Now I don't think you can justify killing black people because of the color of their skin using the Bible.

I think culture is a bigger part of integrating people compared to religion. Bosnians are muslims, but they are better integrated than for example Arabs and Somalians, atleast here in Sweden.

I am Ethiopian Orthodox, actually my parents are strongly religious, but I haven't exactly read all the pages in the Bible.

This is what happens when a small country accepts houndreds of thousands of immigrants, and doesnt have a damn plan on how to integrate them in the society.
We will most likely have our first political party with a racistic agenda in government after next elecition in about a year. The swedish people has had enough. The established political parties has brought this on themselves, and us.

The fact is that Sweden is the best country in the world for Muslims . If this is the way to show their gratitude Sweden has a big problem. Actually the big majority of Muslims are taken hostages by the fundamentalists. Their silence about the atrocities committed is a loud reminder about the muslim society inability to adapt

I've walked the streets of Malmo very late at night the summer of 1977. Now I've heard that it is unwise to walk there in places after 9 P.M. due to the immigrant situations. Not saying I know for sure, as I don't, but could someone in Sweden let me know what the truth is.

It depends on who you ask. I think, because of all the media attention some "bad" areas have got these recent months, most people will probably say it's unsafe.

I don't know abot Malmö, since I've never been there. But there isn't any places in Stockholm that I would be scared to visit, at any time.

The "Islam is peace" sounds nice, but I cannot translate to be sure. It would be nice for everyone to live together peacefully.

However you are wrong about 9/11 being fake (like a magic show?). I believe that the towers really fell down, if you think they are still standing then go find them. I believe they were hit by flying jets planes, if you think they were not hit be flying jets planes then go find these planes. I believe the terrorists that the evidence prove did it, did in fact do it, if you think the evidence is fake then find the person(s) and/or group(s) that are faking it.
