It would have been nice had the paper included a synopsis of the points of this winner's writing.

Wow. We don't even know why the man won this award. Yet, because his name IS NOT Barack Obama, the criticism, and unfortunately, the acclaim, is missing from this post. My post is the second one, and I don't expect he'll get too many more. I wonder what excuses people will use to justify his award or for not writing about why he did or deserve to win the award. And conservatives still say racism is dead. Right.

Why did someone (as of noon today) judge this post to be "racy?" Do they even know what "racy" means?

They're afraid to. It would further marginalize the committee.

So, Bob, why don't you summarize it for us, since you have such a great understanding of the subject?

No, he didn't know that, or at least pretends not to have known that. The comment was posted by a typical ignorant dittohead who can see nothing racist in claiming that anyonme who supports the President is racist. This is the kind of cretin who will squeal like a stuck pig if you say his watermelon jokes have a racist component.

Unfortunately, he fancies himself a great wit. When the boys get together after a hard day picking up roadkill and share a nickel bag of weed and a plastic jug of vodka, this loser thinks he's the life of the party. One has to wonder how he can negotiate stairs on his own, let alone type a comment.

And yet one has to wonder how manage it. You also have it backwards. It's anyone that DOESN'T support obama is a racist. But you already knew that.

How who manages it, genius?

People who make racist remarks are racist, regardless of their support or non-support of the President. The only people I ahve ever heard say that anyone who doesn't support Obama is a racist are right-wing whiners who can't think of anything intelligent to say.

You would already know that, if you had any self-awareness.

Sorry. I left out the word "You". And since you're going to nit pick, what does "ahve" mean, Brainiac?
And you claim it's the right-wing whiners playing the race card? Wow! And all this time I thought Carter and Mondale were DemonicRats. Silly me!

Pointing out racism is not "playing the race card," unless you're the one being called out. "Playing the race card" is something that is never done by white people who complain about other races, or who like to make snide racial references.

Kudos on your proof-reading, though.

Wrong! Anyone that disagrees with Obamas methods IS labled a racist because he's black. This nonsense is being spewed by WHITE LIBERALS. By bringing up color as the only issue to not liking the way a president is handling the job(s) at hand, is PLAYING THE RACE CARD.

Apart from Fox News, where did you obtain that bit of wisdom?
