Very interesting outcome. Now if we can get the Democrats and the teacher Union on board, we will be able to raise the education level of all students.

The article stated
"Some Swedes say the private system drains funds from public education, but officials say independent schools have forced public schools to raise their own standards and improve efficiency"

We heard the Democrats and teachers union using this logic for years and our education system (compared to the world) is sucking air.

I believe it is a win win situation for our children.

I have been following this and other news items at www.polijam.com and find this article fascinating. It reinforces the fact that competition improves quality in most products. What I find amazing is that the Swedes are doing it!
