Good for China! Now all the American Volvo owners can not blame Ford for their lack of automotive knowledge. Most Americans have Volvos as an appliance just like a toaster or vacuum cleaner. American buyers for the most part do not know what makes their wheels go round. Just ask Toyota.

Long years Volvo have been European/Swedisch brand mark. Its one from the best premium class vehicles. Now Chinesse will rifle all knowledge from Volvo. Im not going to be surprised if in few years Volvo will not exist anymore, unfortunately

Me and My wife had planned to buy Volvo XC90. We were very thrilled but now that its gonna owned by Chinese car maker, we have dropped that idea. My wife has started something (albeit) small at our house. We try not to buy anything with "Made in China" even clothes, shoes...

We do pay a little extra and in some cases its very hard to find something not made in China.

I do hope some household like us will join us in small effort. I am against Chinese people its the country's policy of oppression that we are against.

Just a note, Volvo will still be a Swedish built vehicle. It will just be owned by a Chinese Company. Truth is, it would probably amaze you at the products you purchase now with no knowledge that it is built elsewhere.
