Quote ---- U.S. offshore regulators said that the vessel complied with existing international and U.S. standards. What that means is that the same antiquated BOP that has failed Chevron in Brazil, Chevron in Nigeria, Conoco Phillips in China, and BP in our GOM is still being the called out standard bearer for the to big to fail OIL and GAS TYCOONS.
Now the depths Respol will drill too are greater than the deepest in our GOM. That simply means that virgin pressures will be more. We all saw the oil and gas flowing out of the failed BP blow out preventor for a sadistically seriously long 90 days. Now what might occur when Respol puts the bit into the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico and they have a like kind problem as that of BP?
The story goes much deeper as to what might happen during a blow out because of the POLITICS involved.
Warnings go unheard e-mails sent off are not read, what that means is too many Political People have their heads buried in the sand. That also includes many of the so-called intellectuals and oil and gas engineers.
