How to tell a deer pelvis from a sheep pelvis?

I have a pelvis bone found on a beach on the island of Lanai, Hawaii. Given the locality, there are two possibilities: axis deer or mouflon sheep. Unfortunately, numerous through searches online revealed no comparative images; the images of deer pelvises look almost exactly like the images of sheep pelvises. When I found the bone, there were no other bones associated, as it was cast up on the beach by waves. Are there any details I could look for to tell one pelvis from another?
