cryptozoology: hunting Neanderthal relics

Cryptozoology is a zoological field that investigates the possibility that evolutionary relatives of known animal species exist that appear to be somewhat mysterious and hence uncategorized by science.

Anthropologists know that relatives of Neanderthals are hominid animals that resemble homo sapiens (humans) in appearance and body stature but not intelligence. As such, relatives and descendants of Neanderthals are special candidates for as-of-yet uncategorized monkey-like 'nearly mythological' cryptozoological creatures such as Bigfoot and the Jersey Devil.

Do these investigations into morphological ambiguities illuminate the symbolic appeal of Hollywood (USA) movies such as "The Little Mermaid" (1989)?

Are they printing movie posters on hemp/recycled paper yet?

God bless!
