Frozen

I might have misunderstood this, but did it just say teachers got a bonus for freezing wages? My wages have been frozen and all that work with me for about five years and we do not get a bonus for this. That school lives in such a fantasy world were you have to give them money like children to do anything, even take a pay freeze. A one year freeze from their mandatory "steps", this is what a teachers union gets you.

This is a one year bluff to get a levy passed. I support the levies every time, but the school needs to realize that REAL cuts must be made to get a levy, not fake showy freezes. Take a real world three year freeze without a bonus and we might know your serious. However Michelle Roberts and here union hacks would never go for that.

Public unions have far too much control and they are not afraid to use it and hold the public hostage.

Wow get a levi passed? Good luck.

The people in this town and county
have their brains froze in time. They
think it's still the 50's.

I support them each time and when they
didn't pass the OSFC one to get new buildings
at less than half the cost I knew they had
less than half a brain.

Now it's like the old car repair commercial
Pay me now or pay me double later.

Any local levy to update buildings is simply putting a new dress on the same old pig. Will
cost twice as much and you will just have a
old pig in a new dress.

Simply put out an operating levy? Your only addressing half the problem and wasting money.
You may have improved payroll funding but you
will still be throwing money at the same old pig.

The rapidly deteriorating buildings.

But it was good enough for some 50yrs ago so why
not now? That's how a lot feel about it.

Nostalgia is nice, but it doesn't pay the bills.
Those restrooms are a disgrace and a waist of money. If any other health department, other than
Carrollton's, was checking them they would be shut down!

Staff is constantly sick and so are the kids. They
are what we call "sick buildings" bad water, bad air and unsanitary restrooms.
