While I never had the pleasure of meeting George Carlin in person, I was a fan. I read his work and saw him perform on stage and he was brilliant. He provided a relevant social commentary on our society and he made us laugh. I’m saddened by his death and extend my condolences to Dr. Jay in the loss of his friend.

yes, everyone dies at some point, but George was well known for his comedy and he made people laugh. Yes, I do realize there are a lot of people like that, but until you introduce me to some, I won't be shocked and saddened when they passed away.

I enjoyed all of his topical stuff, but I first got to laugh at George Carlin back in the Wonderful Wino days. That stuff still cracks me up. It's been almost a year that he's gone. I wonder what he would have thought about our new President, AIG, all sorts of things.

I first heard Carlin at a friends house when we were playing pool, the name of the album,(album, guess I'm showing my age),was "Toledo Windowbox". And about halfway through that record I was laying on the pool table in tears! This guy was 'FRAKIN' HILARIOUS'!

ONE OF A KIND!

"When you're driving, your life is in your foot's hands..."

"I belive in live, and let live. And I think that anybody who does'nt feel that way should be executed..."

He might be imitated, but 'NEVER DUPLICATED'!

God Bless you George!
