Does the 'God particle' exist?
THE world of physics is bubbling with excitement this weekend as scientists await news about the discovery of what some call "The God Particle". The Higgs boson, a sub-atomic particle that is thought to carry all the mass in ordinary matter, has eluded the boffins since it was proposed nearly half a century ago.
