If We Reach The Stars, Will It Matter?
Where will the drama of the human future be played out? Will it be out among the stars, or will it be confined to the domains of the solar system? Might we not even get that far and be stuck for the next few thousand years scratching things out here on the Earth's surface? These were questions I asked last week in a New York Times op-ed piece .

Perhaps the best bet for human traveling to stars,to the Alpha Centauri system and beyond will be the use of fusion as means of propulsion.Other ways to go the beyond the local universe would be piggyback small probes on a bigger one. For example, if small probes piggybacked on te voyagers; then those small probes would go on their way far beyond our local system, (solar system).I m not sure if the use of solar sails is eficient beyond the sun gravititional grip.
