Meh. Considering it was estimated to be around 14 billion years old to begin with, what's 80 million years, give or take?
It's kind'a like claiming that humans showed up on the scene 6 months earlier than previously believed. lol

Each 'day' of creation could easily have been thousands of years in our reckoning.

Genesis is a poem, and like many others, the words aren't literal.

"yome" is the Hebrew word for "day" and like the English equivalent, can represent something other than 24 hours, such as in the "day of the dinosaur" which lasted hundreds of thousands of years.

On the other hand, it could mean the "day of the liberal" in which case we are in deep shit.
