Seriously? Personally I think it takes more faith to believe in a big bang theory or any other man made idea than to just admit that God is alive and well but planet Earth is not......

I have an MD from Harvard. I am board certified in cardio thoracic medicine and trauma surgery. I have been awarded citations from 7 different medical boards in New England and I am never ever sick at sea. So I ask you, when someone goes into that chapel and they fall on their knees and they pray to God that their wife doesn't miscarry or that their daughter doesnt bleed to death or that their mother doesn't suffer acute neural trauma from postoperative shock, who do you think they are praying to? Go ahead and read your bible and go to church and with any luck, you might win that raffle but if you're looking for God, he was in operating room number two on November 17 and he doesn't like to be second guessed. You ask me if I have a God complex? Let me tell you something: I am God!

Look at it this way..Big bang theory or belief THAT God does exist..SOMETHING OR SOMEONE had to make the molecules and that would be whom?? The Earth was perfect in every way..UNTIL "man" decided to make it better...his way..Now the Earth is dying, all because of Man wanting ALL that the Earth can give..exhausting it and it's atmosphere protecting it and us...WHO do ya think WILL win in the end???

It really never has been a question as to what wins here...the universe is cold and brutal..doesn't care if we are here or not..we get this little time to be here and that's it...the dinosaurs didn't tear down the ozone with their industrialization..and they didn't die from smoking like the cartoon depicts..we have to consume to exist..5 billion years from now the only remnant of man will be two very cool space probes named voyager I & II...I hope that someone finds the gold plated record albums and can figure out how to access that information..

As in the game of War..there isn't a "winner"..only losers...losing all that we loved or ever hoped to love...

Exactly, the difference is that the universe was always the winner, been here way before man, and will be here way after man...to it I don't imagine that we are more then a fly that showed up at a picnic...so, we should do the best we can to land on the good vittles before that inevitable swat...

Confirmation of The Giggs Boson Particle would be great news indeed, Enabling us to know more about Our world, definitely The biggest breakthrul tn a hundred years. And especially on such a date- That has its own significance.

It's all just a matter of timing. The God Particle rests every 7 days, so it's easy to find if you look for it at the right time.

The thing about this ''God particle' is this I found every time I yelled out 'oh God' during the Big Bang theory , then got the 'God particle'. Nine months later I also got a baby out of the deal. So I gave it up after second baby. No more Big bangs and or 'God particles' for me, or I would be raising a small country about now.

I understand your opinion and right to express same, but on the contrary, Mine is a different view. I have ENORMOUS respect for these people what they have achieved to date AND they come continue to come up with; plus the time effort and dedication they apply.. I watch ALL Prof Brian Cox's documentaries, which are compulsive viewing, about WONDERS OF THE UNIVERSE etc. I am looking forward to the BIG news tomorrow, and although I might only understand a 'particle' of it [pun intended, lol] still, we got our intelligence to use and probe with. Far from 'clowns' Sir, I suggest [as mentioned in your post] WHAT would our world be without the genius of EINSTEIN, the late STEVE JOBS, etc, here naming but a few.. who were given 'the magic wand' and how I LOVE to watch in awe ... what they do with it.
