Of course inatimate objects will survive...

But what about 'life on earth'?

it's life on earth, people are concerned about...not the lifeless rock, known as a planet...

Why can't people seperate the two concepts...

Of Course rocks and matter will always be ok...but life forms living on those rocks and matter, may not always be ok...

Lifeless matter can survive anything...

But that' not what people are worried about...people arent worried about lifeless matter...

People are worried about biological living conscious life...

Just because the planet earth survives a catastrophy, doesn't mean life on earth will...

This was proven untrue, Mayan calendar don't have leap years, they're inaccurate in measuring time, by the Mayan calendar we'd be in 2013 now.

Pretty sure not accounting for leap years creates more than a 1 year difference, considering how much time has passed since the Mayan calendar was made.....

LOL i can't wait to see if there is any chaos on the 20th i.e people running rampant and breaking into shops, robbing banks etc. I doubt any of this will happen but it would be funny seeing people freaking out about something that is a total joke.

Personally, if we are to be wiped out on this date, i hope it's either an asteroid or a black hole. If nothing happens, maybe someone will do something on that day just to compensate for the lack of disaster. I'm thinking possibly a second 9/11 or something along those lines is planned for this date. Hope not though of course.

It will not happen, my milk bottle has an expiration date of March 22nd 2013, that is a conclusive proof LOL.

to be precise there had been 514 leap years since the Mayan calendar was created. So we'd be in 2014.

Coast is clear? PAZB not here? Okay. Until he shows up, I'm back. So here's my view of this:

Well, as a Catholic, we have certain beliefs like every religion. The three days of darkness is one of them. Well you know what, just look at this.

Odd thing is...Friday the 21st will indeed be the last day for 10's of 1000's of people...

Just as today was, through natural causes, accidents, mishaps ect ect..car crashes, wars...

Friday will indeed be the last day on earth for many...just as today was...

Good point, the end of the world will indeed happen for many. Except it will be the end of THEIR world not the rest of ours.

We all live in the same world, a more accurate way to say it would be the end of their lives.
