i find out turtle were related to crocs and dinosaurs before the dna test there inside of the mouth are like crocs and they have 2 rows of armo or more on there backs its a advance feature mammal like reptile does not have that feature allso found a croc fossil with a bobtail it allso has advance feature over the primtive croc look alike the tuatara reptile
