Tony Hayward: Right in the thick of it

May 29, 2010 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: The Independent

Will BP chief Tony Hayward be able to cling on to his job? enlarge When the Today programme presenter Evan Davis picked up the line to a Florida-based oceanographer yesterday, he only wanted to get the latest on the environmental effects of the oil gushing into the Gulf of Mexico.

I hope your grandchildren die, covered in oil, unable to breathe, like the birds and all the other lifeforms you've destroyed. Your name will always be associated with the foulest environmental crime in history. As BP sinks, I hope you go right down with them to the bottom of the sea, mourned by no one, disgraced forever

Let's not hate because it just makes evil worse. Granted that we're not looking up to oil companies, but we oughta forgive them like we want God to forgive us for our faults.

The world's environment is clearly getting worse, I mean I couldn't believe that in Timmins, Ontario (where pop queen Shania Twain is from) they had a record heat (mid 40 degrees celsius) at the end of May?!..and that's in Canada?!!! It's usually around 20 degrees celsius there at that time of year. This clearly indicates that global warming is getting much much worse. And on top of that, there's the BP oil spill!

I just hope the medias of the world promote hydrogen fuel cell vehicles (those cars run on water). They're about $50,000 right now per vehicle, according to Toyota's vehicles anyway, but I think Honda was the one that started developing those vehicles. I understand the $50,000 price tag right now because they're new technology, but I just hope prices of those type of vehicles will go down in the next few years to like around $20,000. Let's spread the word about cosidering those vehicles instead of having to promote gasoline. I know this is cliche to say, but we really do need to help each other out to make a better tomorrow. God bless you all!
