You're right, my guy didn't win the election, but that doesn't say anything about why it looks like in the world of climate data that the books are being cooked.
So you think the satellites are lying about the Arctic melt?

Or lying about the measured temperature increases?

Revealing, how you seem to be focused on only one thing, no?

Best to just ignore the troll, instead of giving him any attention.
Any intelligent person can see the nonsense in his "posts".

But the troll can't see it lost loads of its posts to deletion by Topix when we ignore it. Which happened!

What's revealing is the consistent favoring of one point of view in nearly all the corrections, editing and adjustments made by your side of the coin. How many headlines have we seen that say, "It's worse than Previously Thought"? Every one of those means that somewhere in all of the data that constitutes "Global Warming", records are being changed.

of mine is just one in a long list of observations by lots of people that illustrates the point.

What's important is the scientific justification for any corrections.

It's not as if these are talked about on the web site is it?

http://sealevel.colorado.edu/faq#n3113

Steve Case doesn't understand the science involved, so of course he doesn't understand why the corrections are made.

Sadly there is a huge number of such people writing for and commenting on wattsup, but a long list of zeros is still zero.

Oh I'm sure they have reasons and they will be good & correct reasons. What's obvious is that good and correct reasons are never found to make corrections that go the other way other way.

Well why don't you look and find some then?

Much easier to make baseless accusations of fraud and pass them to a liar and misinformed like watts to publish.

You are as contemptible as he is.

What's REALLY noticeable is that you didn't answer Wallop10's question about the satellites. Are those gravimetric & laser satellites "cooking the books"? Do those satellites "believe" they have to "cook the books"?(LOL)

Here's a clue: when it comes to journalism, if it bleeds it leads. If a scientific study says "things aren't as bad as we feared" (they do happen) will that get headlines, sell papers & get web clicks? Journalism has a natural bias to exaggerate things; that's why you should go to the original scientific paper if you can, or at least to a reputable general science media organization like Scientific American (or others).

Sea level rise is difficult to measure because of all the variables. The satellites showing melting ice are way more reliable.

The fact that the rise is real, though, means that statistically, certainties will rise, so corrections will indeed be upward most of the time. That's NOT cooking the books. Your post on Watts' site should be answered with "And?"

Ahh, he wrote the paranoid article for WattsUP;
Well of course they would immediately print it.

They print ANYTHING skeptical, even when it conflicts with other conspiracies they have printed.
