Scientists: Change needed in study of deepwater oil spills
A national team of scientists, including two researchers from UC Davis, warns that inadequate knowledge about the effects of deepwater oil well blowouts - like Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico - threatens scientists' ability to help manage comparable future events.
