Legacy of Pythagoras

What is X + Y?
How important is algebra as compared to geometry?

The Ancient Greeks knew their math, and I think one of the most interesting and influential mathematicians was none other than Pythagoras. He developed theories about triangles and music.

The apostle Paul traveled through Ancient Greece, and I find Paul's message to the Greeks (i.e., "you people are very religious") very inspiring!

Peace be with the reader.

Pythagoras was indeed a great spiritual leader.

Pythagoras was correct when he rejected the
idea of irrational numbers. Irrational numbers
are imaginary numbers, not 'real' numbers.
