Hey thanks for this article, Morning Call. Now the local thieves know exactly where to go for easy pickings. Look for some scum bag drug dealer to set up shop here, too, now that they know a good place to hide.

I mean, really, what is the point of this article? Boo hoo things just ain't like they used to be. There is no going back. All you can do is move forward and be realistic.

Roseto is 97.3% White and safe. Allentown is 64.4% White and not so safe.

I hope a lot of my neighbors here in Allentown see this article and move to Roseto. When they move if they would only take their old sofas from their front porch, the junk cars that are up on blocks next to their house and the PR flag that is over the front window for drapes.

Second thought, they won't see the MC article on Roseto because they never get the paper and they don't speak or read English

Guess which little town is about to be ravaged by crime?
The tribunes "morning call" newspaper is out again drumming up exciting news stories in an effort to boost circulation.
I hope there's a gun shop there cause you're gonna need protection - starting this evening.
write to the morning call and as them at what price does better circulation come?
Happy as hfll I don't live there.

I onced lived in a Italian dominated town in upstate New York, you did not have to lock your doors, cars of keep your kids on a chain. I was know for the dons that kept there families there, very safe place to live. The petty small time crime people feared for their heads. Maybe the same goes in Roseto....

Another assinine report by the Mcall. Geez, why not just post a want ad in your classified section for criminals.
As soon as I saw the title, I immediately thought I knew which reporter wrote it, but apparently the MCall has more than one undereducated reporter

"Last year, state crime records say, Roseto police handled only two burglaries. For comparison's sake, Allentown police handled 1,335, an average of nearly four every day."

That is the worst possible comparison the Morning Call could make! There is 110,000 people in Allentown, almost 70 times as many as Roseto. Granted, the rate is still higher but it was a poor comparison. More Allentown bashing at the local rag.

Must be nice. Geeze, I have to lock my car up like Fort Knox every night, otherwise every crackhead in the area will come to steal the dimes out of the ashtray...

The heck with Roseto. This article is funny. The Morning Call acts like I am going to move there with a bunch of dieing people because it is "safe".

I'm perfectly happy with life here in A-town with all my young cool neighbors and I feel perfectly safe.
