I'm going on a golf trip with 16 guys. We are playing 5 rounds. Ideally we'd like to have as few overlaps as possible. Can you send me how to do this at miscdab@gmail.com?

Going on a trip with 16 total guys. We are playing 3 rounds with A,B,C,D pairings. Can you send me how to do this with either no duplicates or as few as possible.

absolutley possible to do this with no duplicates. go to GolfTripGenius.com . for \$48, you will get perfect pairings, plus much much more.

I found the following perfect & free solution on the internet that covers 4 rounds of ABCD play for 16 players with no duplicates.
(1,2,3,4)(5,6,7,8)(9,10,11,12) (13,14,15,16)
(1,5,9,13)(2,6,10,14)(3,7,11,1 5)(4,8,12,16)
(1,6,11,16)(2,5,12,15)(3,8,9,1 4)(4,7,10,13)
(1,7,12,14)(2,8,11,13)(3,5,10, 16)(4,6,9,15)
(1,8,10,15)(2,7,9,16)(3,6,12,1 3)(4,5,11,14)

24 players in 6 teams of 4. Playing 4 rounds of golf.... How do I arrange the pairings so that nobody plays the same person twice ?

Mike, could you kindly let me have a spreadsheet for 12 players playing in three flights of four over four days, so that's 12 flights altogether. I'm looking for maximum separation which means that each player should only have to play with one other player twice. Many thanks

Hi John did you get a solution to your problem??? I have a similar problem...
12 golfers over 5 rounds in 3 x 4 balls per round and

Has anybody come across free software to do these calculations?? I know of golf trip genius and it is good software but you have to pay.. cant believe there is no freeware available??
I have 2 problems I need to solve

12 golfers over 6 rounds and

12 golfers over 5 rounds

they will play as 4 balls each round..

want everyone to play with each other if poss and as evenly as poss..

I have a group of 92 Senior Golfers. We play from end of March to middle of October every year. Most of time we play scramble with 5 on a team. Two tims a year we play a 4 person best ball in their flight. Once a year we play individual, having flights.

Wll this program handle that - we usually have 12 - 14 tee times.

I am looking for a program for our Mixed Senior Group. We play scrambles every week, have at least 12+ teams of 5. I would like to be able to make up teams each week with everyone playing with everyone else and not have people play with same person more than 2 - 3 times in a season. Players are A, B, C, D, & E flights. There will also be one woman in each pairing.

I tried the Golf Trip Geniums link above and it provides a lot of what is needed at a cost. I did find a Code that allows you 1 free use which is what I used. Use the Code BOXGROOVE and you get one free trip setup and you cna make sure it provides what you need.
