those of us who grew up in Santa Cruz with the ability all left and went to better schools, meanwhile students who couldn't get in UCSD or Berkeley decided to take a 4 year vacation in Santa Cruz. How nice.

Pack up your trash when you leave, that includes your bongs and pipes. Thank you.

Of course, UCSC has some very fine science programs. Those were the folks who passed by the tree-sitters last year, utterly ignoring them as nuisances.
