West Texas sinkholes cause for concern, and wonder
The Wink Sinks of Winkler County are barely visible from the highway, and you are not allowed to visit them.

Oil exploration driven aquifer dissolution of salt cavitation sinkholes.
ie. the result if using uncased (bare ass) holes piercing aquifers and an underlying salt dome resulting in catastrophic dissolution of the salt.
Should eventually yield a vary large & impressive rather brackish lake slightly wider then the original salt dome & a brackish to salty aquifer emergent as springs @ the sandstone surface outcrops tens to hundreds of km from the lake.
I recall something similar in the USA deep southern swamplands with trees sinking out of sight into a rapidly widening & deepening muddy lake (vid).
Something to see.
Have a nice day: Ag
