many cities of China felt the quake, and some place of Xi'an, when the hoist broke apart aloft, a worker in there is severly injured, I don't know the real wounded or death number either, hope people in epicentre are fine.

Was there any damage to the area where the new Three Gorges Damn is under construction? This has been a controversial location because it lies in a major fault area.

Sounds like we reduced the "carbon footprint" by only about 18,000 feet today. We have a ways to go to be fully green clean. The "white man's burden" is a little lighter and gas prices should drop commensurately. All in all, a good day.

God have mercy on everyone who seeks him. Those who say "cool" are so unsympathetic, I doubt whether God had hear you say that kind of thing.

This is an unbelievably bad natural catastrophe and I pray many people have survived.

I think the U.S. and other countries should help the Chinese people in whatever way we can.

I think it is a good idea if a some sort of Rapid Reaction Disaster Recovery Force should be formed by countries willing to participate, so that a very fast response can be mounted to natural-disaster stricken areas. It should have personnel, food, water, medicine, shelter, transportation and a million other things necessary for disaster relief.

It would cost a lot of money. But what is a person's life worth ?

The world is too interconnected and interdependent now to not do this.
