Hmm very nice.

This field responds to rebound (r/lx) of the Sierra madre and marginal forearc range down the S. part of the basin & range into Mexico.

The last major r/lx was 1315+-50Bp with major tsunami extending from Guatemala to S.Mexico and also a fair chunk of central America & the Jamaica trough at least as far as the lesser Antilles.

Next r/lx there is due in 2080+-50 due to count of time vs convergence rate.

Prior r/lx of N. part of the Sierra Madre lileky after eruption of SP. and before eruption of Sinset crater. The field lies in the NE. part of the backarc where the runout closest to the hotspots (Panguitch, Colorado, Raton-Clayton) is largest and the reconvergence rate slowest. As a result all the magma incorporated into the entire backarc basin ends up hitting the colorado plateau & erupts along the marginal volcanic fields.

Result also implies a subduction zone between the Gulf of california rift & Sierra Madre range of Mexico and evidence of similar right up to California/Mex/Nevada borders.

backarc overrun may also compress the crust of Baja shutting down its volcanic fields which will open up & begin erupting in the latest stage before r/lx when the gulf of california rift E.margin is compresses & rifting spreads into the W.Wall.

Watch out for big quakes with long runout & bloody great big tsunami in the SW.Mex region in near future.

This volcano field is the key indicator. Sunset crater was the magma from the last event in the N. part of the backarc basin.

Have a nice day: Ag
