3.9 earthquake gently shakes San Diegans awake
A magnitude 3.9 earthquake hit 18 miles west-southwest of Palm Springs at 12:47 a.m. Sunday, generating brief, light shaking that was felt across much of San Diego County, the US Geological Survey says.

The quake was center by Valle Vista in Hemet it was felt in Hemet and surroundings not in San Diego County has the article says
