I would like to bring your attention to a new theory of the origin of the Moon - Volcanic Origin Lunar Theory. More can be seen at http://www.durotigus.com

According to Durotigus, the mega plume from the mega volcano at Yellowstone was drawn by the "gravitational drag" of the moon (that didn't exist yet), resulting in the Hawaiian Islands? Gee? All this time I thought the Hawaiian Ridge-Emperor Seamounts chain was formed by a hotspot under the ocean. The rest of the "supporting evidence" makes about as much sense. Is this theory some kind of April Fools' joke?
