"After further investigation, the USGS website has changed its parameters where earthquakes under 2.5 magnitude are not reported on the activity map, which is why it wasn't visibly reported." - Not quite right. The USGS site defaults to showing quakes of magnitude 2.5 or more but with one click you can see ALL activity. This quake was visible immediately on the site. We felt one quick jolt.
